My friend and I sat by the bar counter and [imo] got some of the most genuine and gentle service from Mr. Bartender.. Fish and chips were crispy and steamy, and the Guinness was smooth -- all for under $30 in 2025. ”

Back in the day, it was literally waterfront property - there was no 12th Avenue until the 1880’s when it was created with landfill. We had the corner beef & cabbage and braised lamb shank - both were delicious. ”
